businesses in the United States. Of these, it is MEDISCRIBE’s estimates that
about 5% or over 1.3 million of such organizations either send their
employees on extended business trips or station them away indefinitely.
When an employee is thus “deployed”, it is vitally important that in the
event of an emergency, such employee has the ability to access vital
personal healthcare information. Currently there are no established
or simple ways for travelers to carrier such information with them.
With MEDISCRIBE©, the traveler’s information is available to
any medical professional anywhere in the world. Even without the
ability to “swipe” the IPI Card a medical professional, anywhere
will be able to the retrieve the individuals medical information through
the MEDISCRIBE© verification system.
COST: There is a $35.00 setup fee and a $15.00 annual renewal
fee. If the system is accessed this fee is waived and there will be a
$15.00 fee each time the system is accessed during that year.
